Last Updated: October 22, 2026

1. General Terms

Welcome to MegaFlooring.net, operated by Mega Flooring Inc. ("Mega Flooring," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing our website, placing an order, purchasing products, or requesting installation services, you agree to these Terms of Service and any applicable written sales or installation agreement.

These terms apply to online purchases, in-store purchases, special orders, deliveries, and installation services, where applicable and where provided to the customer as part of the transaction.

Mega Flooring reserves the right to update these Terms of Service. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply prospectively, subject to applicable law.

2. Orders and Contract Agreements

All orders are subject to product availability, pricing verification, and acceptance by Mega Flooring.

An order confirmation acknowledges that an order has been received but does not necessarily guarantee acceptance or availability.

A written quotation, invoice, purchase agreement, or order acknowledgment may form part of the contract between Mega Flooring and the customer.

Any modifications to an accepted order must be approved by Mega Flooring in writing.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders involving pricing errors, product unavailability, suspected fraud, or other legitimate reasons, subject to applicable law. Where an order is cancelled by Mega Flooring and payment has been collected, any required refund will be issued.

3. Pricing and Payments

All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes, delivery charges, installation fees, and additional services may be charged separately.

Payment terms will be specified at checkout or on the customer's quotation or invoice.

Special orders may require full or partial payment before materials are ordered.

Any outstanding balance must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.

To the extent permitted by law, Mega Flooring may suspend undelivered orders or unperformed services due to overdue payments.

Ownership of materials may remain with Mega Flooring until payment has been received in full, to the extent permitted by law and subject to applicable contractual and statutory requirements.

4. Special Orders – Final Sale

ALL SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE.

Special order items include, but are not limited to:

  • Custom-ordered hardwood, engineered hardwood, vinyl, laminate, carpet, and tile

  • Products ordered specifically for a customer

  • Non-stock materials and special colour selections

  • Custom sizes, finishes, and specifications

  • Made-to-order flooring materials and accessories

Once a special order has been accepted and processed, it cannot be cancelled, returned, refunded, or exchanged due to a change of mind, incorrect customer measurements, or customer ordering errors, except as required by law.

Customers are responsible for verifying product selection, quantities, dimensions, colours, and specifications before confirming special orders.

5. Trims, Baseboards, Casings and Accessories – Final Sale

NO CHANGE-OF-MIND REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES will be accepted for the following:

  • Baseboards

  • Door and window casings

  • Trims and mouldings

  • Quarter rounds and shoe mouldings

  • Reducers and transition strips

  • Stair nosings and stair accessories

  • Thresholds and finishing profiles

  • Other flooring finishing accessories

These products are considered FINAL SALE, whether purchased separately or together with flooring materials.

This restriction does not affect any rights or remedies customers may have under applicable law.

6. Regular Stock Flooring Returns

Returns or exchanges of regularly stocked flooring products are subject to prior approval by Mega Flooring.

Products submitted for return consideration must be unused, uninstalled, unopened, in their original packaging, and accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

Mega Flooring reserves the right to decline discretionary returns for opened, damaged, incomplete, previously installed, or otherwise non-resalable products.

Approved return conditions, including any applicable restocking charges, must be communicated to the customer before the return is completed.

Nothing in this section limits statutory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights.

7. Flooring Measurements and Material Allowances

Flooring quantities are calculated based on measurements, product dimensions, installation layout, cutting requirements, and anticipated material waste.

Additional materials may be required for:

  • Cutting and fitting

  • Room configurations and irregular layouts

  • Pattern matching

  • Directional installation

  • Seams and transitions

  • Repairs and future replacements

An approximate material allowance of 10% may be required, depending on the flooring product and installation conditions. Actual allowances may vary.

A manufacturing variation in material widths of approximately 2% may fall within standard mill tolerances where applicable to the product.

Installation charges may be calculated based on the amount of material required for the project rather than the exact finished floor area.

Customers must verify all quantities and measurements before purchasing materials for self-installation.

8. Product Colours, Textures and Natural Variations

Product photographs, website images, showroom displays, and flooring samples are provided for reference purposes.

Actual flooring products may vary in colour, shade, grain, texture, pattern, gloss, and appearance due to:

  • Manufacturing and dye-lot differences

  • Natural wood characteristics

  • Lighting conditions

  • Screen and monitor settings

  • Production batches

  • Material composition

Hardwood, engineered hardwood, cork, bamboo, laminate, vinyl, and carpet may exhibit variations consistent with their material characteristics and manufacturing specifications.

Natural features such as knots, mineral streaks, grain variations, and colour differences may be present in wood products.

Customers are encouraged to review physical samples and confirm product specifications before placing orders.

Minor variations within applicable manufacturer tolerances are not necessarily manufacturing defects.

9. Manufacturer Warranties and Product Performance

Flooring products may be covered by manufacturer warranties, subject to the terms, exclusions, and eligibility requirements established by the applicable manufacturer.

Warranty coverage varies by product and may depend on:

  • Residential or commercial use

  • Installation method

  • Subfloor preparation

  • Moisture conditions

  • Proper maintenance

  • Temperature and humidity controls

  • Compliance with manufacturer instructions

Damage resulting from misuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized alterations, flooding, excessive moisture, or other excluded conditions may not qualify for manufacturer warranty coverage.

Any manufacturer warranty is administered according to its applicable terms.

Mega Flooring will assist customers with applicable warranty inquiries where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Delivery, Pickup and Shipping

Estimated delivery and pickup dates are subject to product availability, supplier schedules, transportation arrangements, and other operational factors.

Customers must provide accurate delivery information and ensure that the delivery location is accessible.

Customers are responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive their merchandise at the agreed delivery time.

Additional delivery or storage charges may apply where a customer requests rescheduling, is unavailable for a scheduled delivery, or fails to provide appropriate access, provided such charges are disclosed and agreed upon where required.

Deliveries may be affected by manufacturer delays, shortages, transportation disruptions, severe weather, strikes, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond Mega Flooring's reasonable control.

Mega Flooring will communicate material changes to anticipated delivery schedules where practicable.

Applicable statutory delivery and cancellation rights remain in effect.

11. Inspection of Materials

Customers should inspect flooring products and accessories upon delivery or pickup and before installation.

Customers should verify:

  • Product name and collection

  • Colour and finish

  • Quantity and dimensions

  • Visible condition and packaging

  • Batch or dye-lot information where applicable

Any visible damage, incorrect product, missing materials, or other concerns should be reported to Mega Flooring promptly.

Customers should not knowingly install visibly damaged, incorrect, or defective materials without first contacting Mega Flooring for instructions.

Installation of a product may affect the available remedies or warranty assessment, but does not eliminate rights provided by applicable law.

12. Installation Services and Scheduling

Where Mega Flooring provides installation services, installation dates are subject to confirmation and installer availability.

Our team will make reasonable efforts to contact customers to coordinate delivery and installation arrangements.

Customers who need to reschedule should provide at least three business days' notice wherever possible.

Additional charges may apply for avoidable rescheduling, missed appointments, or inaccessible job sites, where agreed upon and legally permitted.

All installation work will be performed according to the applicable written agreement, product requirements, and site conditions.

13. Subfloor Preparation and Additional Work

Unless expressly included in the written quotation, installation pricing does not automatically include:

  • Removal and disposal of existing flooring

  • Subfloor levelling or repairs

  • Removal or replacement of damaged subflooring

  • Additional plywood or underlayment

  • Moisture remediation

  • Structural repairs

  • Removal or replacement of baseboards and trims

  • Furniture moving

  • Door cutting

  • Painting or drywall repairs

Additional work may become necessary after the existing flooring is removed or the subfloor is inspected.

Where additional services or materials are required, Mega Flooring will advise the customer and seek authorization before proceeding with chargeable work.

14. Customer Responsibilities Before Installation

Customers must ensure the installation area is reasonably accessible, safe, and prepared for the scheduled work.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers are responsible for:

  • Removing personal belongings and fragile items

  • Clearing furniture and obstructions

  • Providing suitable access to the property

  • Ensuring utilities are available when required

  • Maintaining appropriate indoor temperature and humidity

  • Addressing known moisture or structural issues

  • Securing valuables, pets, and other household items

Delays caused by incomplete site preparation may result in rescheduling or additional agreed charges.

15. Installation Conditions and Limitations

Carpet Installation: Carpet seams may be visible depending on carpet construction, lighting, placement, and installation conditions. Seam visibility alone does not necessarily indicate defective workmanship. Carpet installation may involve stretching, trimming, and securing materials using appropriate installation methods.

Flooring Squeaks: Existing subfloor movement, structural conditions, or fastening issues may cause floor squeaks. Mega Flooring cannot guarantee the elimination of all existing squeaks unless the necessary corrective work is separately agreed upon.

Doors: New flooring may affect existing door clearance. Door trimming or modification is not included unless expressly specified in the quotation.

Walls and Baseboards: Reasonable installation care will be exercised. Removal or reinstallation of existing mouldings may expose previous damage, paint lines, adhesive residue, or brittle materials. Any required painting, refinishing, or replacement must be included in the contract or separately authorized.

Dust and Debris: Flooring removal and installation may create dust. Customers are encouraged to protect furniture and belongings in surrounding areas.

Existing Materials: Removal or reuse of existing flooring, tack strips, trims, or other materials depends on their condition and the agreed scope of work.

Mega Flooring remains responsible for damage, negligence, or defective workmanship to the extent required by applicable law and the installation agreement.

16. Installation Workmanship Warranty

Where expressly included in the customer's installation agreement, Mega Flooring provides a one-year limited workmanship warranty from the installation completion date.

The workmanship warranty applies to qualifying installation defects attributable to work performed by Mega Flooring.

It does not ordinarily cover product defects, improper maintenance, excessive moisture, abnormal environmental conditions, structural movement, or damage caused by third parties.

Warranty claims should be submitted with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

Mega Flooring may inspect the installation before determining an appropriate remedy.

Manufacturer warranties are separate from workmanship warranties.

Nothing in this section restricts non-excludable legal rights.

17. Site Conditions and Environmental Requirements

Customers must maintain site conditions consistent with the flooring manufacturer's recommendations.

Improper indoor humidity, moisture infiltration, flooding, excessive heat, or unsuitable subfloor conditions can affect flooring performance.

Natural wood and certain other flooring products may expand or contract in response to environmental conditions.

Mega Flooring is not responsible for damage caused solely by site conditions outside its control, except where liability arises from its own work or obligations under applicable law.

18. Delays and Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Mega Flooring will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed service and delivery schedules.

Events outside its reasonable control may include supplier shortages, manufacturing disruptions, severe weather, transportation interruptions, labour disruptions, fires, floods, and government restrictions.

Where such events occur, Mega Flooring will communicate relevant delays and make reasonable efforts to arrange an appropriate solution.

Nothing in this section removes statutory rights concerning delayed deliveries, unperformed services, refunds, or contract cancellation.

19. Website Information and Availability

Mega Flooring strives to provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, inventory information, and website content.

However, typographical errors, technical inaccuracies, and inventory discrepancies may occasionally occur.

We reserve the right to correct errors and update information without prior notice, subject to applicable law and existing contractual obligations.

Products displayed online may be discontinued, temporarily unavailable, or subject to revised manufacturer specifications.

Product availability is not guaranteed until an order has been accepted and confirmed.

20. Website Use and Intellectual Property

All website text, product descriptions, logos, graphics, layouts, and original content are owned by Mega Flooring or used with permission from their respective owners.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit protected website content without authorization.

Customers agree not to use the website for fraudulent transactions, unlawful activities, unauthorized access, or conduct that interferes with website security or functionality.

21. Privacy and Customer Information

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws.

Payment processing and certain website services may be provided by Shopify or authorized third-party service providers.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mega Flooring is not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting solely from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Any limitation of liability is subject to applicable statutory rights and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from certain acts of negligence, misrepresentation, or breach of statutory obligations.

23. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes will be handled according to the applicable laws and legal procedures governing the transaction.
